The troops are comprised of five paper toys and will be released one-by-one starting on Nov. 6 to the 10th. Check them out.

The auto rickshaw, called tuk-tuk in Thailand, is a widely used form of urban transport in Bangkok and other Thai cities, as well as other major Southeast Asian and South Asian cities. It is particularly popular where traffic congestion is a major problem, such as in Bangkok.

In Cambodia, the term tuk-tuk is used to refer to a motorcycle with a cabin attached to the rear. Cambodian cities have a much lower volume of automobile traffic than Thai cities or Jakarta, and tuk-tuks are still the most common form of urban transport.

I’ve featured paperinside’s Hello Kitty Papercraft a while back, in my travels I have found another to add to your collection Hoorah! This is a nice model, not to difficult by the looks of it and the end result is very cute.

Penny Arcade Papercraft

The Penny Arcade crew and the talented Cubeecraft have teamed up to create a fun little set of papercraft for Penny Arcade’s game; On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness – Whew, quite a mouthful! Not only are you getting free papercraft out of this deal, there is also a competition to enter. Create a scene from the game using the papercraft – photograph it, send it in and win stuff. Couldn’t be easier!

From Robosquare.org, here’s a paper model of a robot called “ifbot”. ifbot is an advance communication robot that can understand and speak human language (only Japanese language for now), it can also move by itself, avoid obstacles, detect steps, take pictures and send them wirelessly via the internet, and last but not the least, it can recognize upto ten persons from their voices and faces and adapt to the emotional tones of the speaker. It is marketed in Japan as a domestic communication robot primarily for elderly people to provide conversation and companionship. This paper model is in PDF format, the pattern comes in two pages and one page for instructions.
